Digital Transformation of Primary Agricultural Credit Societies
The Ministry of Cooperation has implemented a digital empowerment initiative for Primary Agricultural Credit Societies (PACS) across India. As of March 2026, numerous PACS have transitioned to a standardized ERP software to streamline operations. To address connectivity challenges, especially in remote areas, high-speed broadband access is provided through Bharat Net, and essential hardware is distributed. Additionally, the National Cooperative Database is being integrated with state portals for seamless data management.
