Discussion Paper on National Accounts Methodology Released by MoSPI

The Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MoSPI) has released a discussion paper focusing on methodological improvements in the compilation of national accounts aggregates using the production/income approach. The new series, with FY 2022-23 as the base year, is set to be released on February 27, 2026. MoSPI invites feedback from experts and stakeholders on the paper, which is available on their website.
