The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Pfizer Limited to enhance India's healthcare innovation ecosystem. This partnership aims to accelerate the lab-to-market journey for healthcare startups by providing financial support, including grants of up to ₹60 lakhs, and an 18-month incubation program. The initiative will focus on supporting 14 MedTech startups working on various health issues, including non-communicable diseases and maternal health, while fostering public-private partnerships to strengthen India's position in global healthcare innovation.
