Dr. Sukanta Majumdar, Union Minister of State for Education, presided over a significant football distribution event in West Bengal, part of the nationwide Football for Schools (F4S) initiative. This programme, organized by the Ministry of Education along with the All India Football Federation and FIFA, has provided over 87,000 footballs across West Bengal and over 7 lakh nationally. The initiative aims to integrate football into school curricula nationwide, promoting inclusion and sportsmanship across 33 States and Union Territories.
