DRDO Completes UAV Launched Missile Trials Boosting Aatmanirbhar Bharat

In a remarkable advancement for Aatmanirbhar Bharat, the Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO) has successfully executed the final development trials for the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Launched Precision Guided Missile (ULPGM)-V3 in air-to-ground and air-to-air modes. These trials, conducted at the DRDO test range near Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh, have verified the missile's operational readiness, with the system being controlled via a sophisticated Ground Control System (GCS). The project involved collaboration with Bharat Dynamics Limited and Adani Defence Systems & Technologies Limited for manufacturing, highlighting India's robust domestic defence ecosystem and production capabilities. DRDO's Secretary and Chairman Dr Samir V Kamat, alongside Raksha Mantri Shri Rajnath Singh, lauded the efforts as a strategic milestone in India's path towards self-reliance in defence technologies.
