DRDO Successfully Tests Pinaka Long Range Guided Rocket

The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) of India successfully conducted the first flight test of the Pinaka Long Range Guided Rocket (LRGR 120) at the Integrated Test Range in Chandipur on December 29, 2025. The rocket hit its target with precision after demonstrating planned in-flight maneuvers. Designed by the Armament Research and Development Establishment with support from several other research laboratories, the rocket was launched from the in-service Pinaka launcher. The achievement was applauded by Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, highlighting it as a significant advancement in enhancing the capabilities of the armed forces.
