DRI Busts Mephedrone Manufacturing Factory in Bhopal
The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) has successfully dismantled an illicit Mephedrone manufacturing facility in Bhopal, seizing 61.2 kg of the drug valued at ₹92 crore. The operation, named 'Operation Crystal Break', involved coordinated raids across multiple states and led to the arrest of seven key operatives linked to the drug syndicate. The factory was equipped with processing equipment and raw materials for drug production. Investigations revealed connections to international drug networks and illegal fund transfers via hawala channels.
