DRI Cracks Down on Major Drug Trafficking Racket in Kolkata

The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) conducted a significant operation in Kolkata on September 12, 2025, leading to the seizure of narcotics worth approximately Rs. 26 crore and the arrest of 10 individuals, including the mastermind behind the drug trafficking racket. The operation involved simultaneous searches at multiple locations, including NSCBI Airport and residential premises, resulting in the recovery of large quantities of Cannabis, Hydroponic weed, and Cocaine. The DRI's efforts underscore its commitment to dismantling drug trafficking networks in India.
