DRI Seizes 39 Containers of Pakistani-Origin Goods in Operation Deep Manifest
The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) has seized 39 containers carrying 1,115 metric tonnes of goods valued at approximately ₹9 crore, as part of 'Operation Deep Manifest'. This operation targets the illegal import of Pakistani-origin goods routed through third countries, particularly Dubai, in violation of a government ban following the Pahalgam terror attacks. One individual has been arrested, and investigations revealed a complex web of transactions aimed at obscuring the true origin of the goods.
