The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) intercepted a vehicle in Tripura, seizing 7 kg of methamphetamine tablets valued at Rs. 7 crore. Two individuals were arrested in connection with the smuggling operation. This seizure is part of DRI's ongoing efforts to combat drug trafficking in the North East Region, with a total of Rs. 28.74 crore worth of methamphetamine seized since January 2025.
