DRI Seizes Drugs Worth Rs. 23.5 Crore in North-East Operations

The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) has conducted two successful operations in the North Eastern Region, seizing heroin and methamphetamine valued at approximately Rs. 23.5 crore. The operations, carried out with the assistance of Assam Rifles, led to the arrest of four drug traffickers. Since January 2025, DRI has seized contraband worth Rs. 173 crore in the region.
