ECI Allocates Free Broadcast Time for Political Parties on State TV and Radio

The Election Commission of India has issued digital vouchers for free broadcast and telecast time on Doordarshan and All India Radio to recognized National and State political parties in Assam, Kerala, Puducherry, Tamil Nadu, and West Bengal ahead of the legislative assembly elections. Parties will receive a base time of 45 minutes for broadcasts, with additional time based on past election performance. Scheduled broadcasts must adhere to guidelines, and the media will also host political debates and panel discussions.
