ECI Conducts Training for Returning Officers Ahead of Bihar Elections

The Election Commission of India (ECI) held a training program for Returning Officers (ROs) and Assistant ROs for the Bihar Legislative Assembly elections on October 9-10, 2025. The program included an online assessment and doubt-clearing session focused on the nomination process. A total of 243 ROs and 1418 AROs participated virtually. The training covered various election phases, including the Model Code of Conduct and poll-day arrangements. Additionally, ECI briefed officials on the Presiding Officer module of ECINET, which will facilitate real-time voter turnout data collection during elections.
