ECI Conference on SIR Preparedness
The Election Commission of India (ECI) commenced a two-day Conference of Chief Electoral Officers (CEOs) at IIIDEM, New Delhi, to assess the preparedness for the nationwide Special Intensive Revision (SIR) exercise. Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar led the conference, which followed a previous meeting on SIR preparedness. The Commission reviewed the progress of mapping current electors and the training status of electoral officials.
