ECI Trains 373 Grassroots Election Functionaries

The Election Commission of India (ECI) has commenced training for 373 grassroots election officials, including Booth Level Officers and Supervisors, from four states at the India International Institute of Democracy and Election Management (IIIDEM) in New Delhi. Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar emphasized the importance of these training programs for ensuring compliance with electoral laws and procedures. This batch marks the largest group trained at IIIDEM, contributing to over 3,720 officials trained in the past two months. The training focuses on voter registration, electoral procedures, and the use of IT tools, including EVMs and VVPATs.
