ECINET Platform Empowers Voters for 2026 General Elections

The Election Commission of India (ECI) has launched the ECINET platform ahead of the 2026 general elections to provide voters with comprehensive information about candidates. The platform allows citizens to access details about the candidates' criminal records, assets, liabilities, and educational qualifications. This initiative covers the elections in five states and a union territory, as well as bye-elections in eight constituencies. Through ECINET, voters can download candidates' affidavits, connect with election officials, and engage in real-time electoral services, ensuring an informed voting process.
