Eighth Joint Working Group Meeting on Agriculture between India and the Netherlands
The eighth meeting of the Joint Working Group (JWG) on Agriculture between India and the Netherlands took place at Krishi Bhawan, New Delhi. Co-chaired by Indian and Dutch officials, the meeting focused on current agricultural priorities, challenges, and initiatives. Both sides highlighted the importance of Centres of Excellence (CoEs) in advancing agricultural technologies and training farmers. Discussions included potential cooperation in areas such as phytosanitary measures, seed sector, animal husbandry, food processing, and greenhouse technologies. Both delegations expressed satisfaction with the discussions and commitment to strengthen bilateral agricultural cooperation.
