Eklavya Model Residential Schools Funding and Scholarships

The Ministry of Tribal Affairs has established the National Education Society for Tribal Students (NESTS) to manage the Eklavya Model Residential School (EMRS) scheme. Over the past five years, significant funds have been allocated to NESTS for the construction and operation of EMRSs. Additionally, various scholarship schemes for tribal students, including pre-matric and post-matric scholarships, as well as fellowships for higher education, are being implemented to support their educational needs.
