Eklavya Model Residential Schools in Jharkhand

As of June 2025, 51 Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRSs) are operational in Jharkhand, with 7,550 students enrolled for the 2024-25 academic year. The Government of India has sanctioned 38,480 teaching and non-teaching posts for EMRSs nationwide, with 9,075 posting orders issued, including 147 in Jharkhand. A total of 91 EMRSs have been approved in the state, with 68 under a new scheme and 23 under Article 275(1) of the Constitution.
