Election Commission Conference on SIR Preparedness

The Election Commission of India held its third Conference of Chief Electoral Officers at IIIDEM, New Delhi, to evaluate the readiness of State/UT offices for the nationwide SIR exercise. Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar led the conference, where presentations were made on strategies, digitization of electoral rolls, and the status of polling stations. The meeting emphasized ensuring no eligible citizen is excluded from the electoral roll and reviewed the training of electoral officials.
