The Election Commission of India has announced measures to make the upcoming General Election in Bihar accessible for Persons with Disabilities (PwDs). All polling stations will be equipped with ramps and located at ground level. Special provisions include Braille voter information slips, dummy ballot sheets in Braille, and priority access for PwDs and senior citizens. Transport facilities will also be available, and 292 polling stations will be managed exclusively by PwDs.
