Election Commission Initiates Phase II of Special Intensive Revision
The Election Commission of India has commenced Phase II of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) for the year 2025, focusing on the enumeration process that started on November 4th and will conclude on December 11th. During this phase, Elector specific Enumeration Forms (EFs) are distributed and digitized across various states and union territories (UTs). As per the latest bulletin, states like Lakshadweep and Rajasthan have achieved 100% digitization rates, while overall, the country has reached a 97.49% digitization rate of EFs. This bulletin highlights the progress state-wise in terms of the number of Booth Level Officers (BLOs) and Booth Level Agents (BLAs) involved in the process.
