Election Commission Releases Intensive Revision Update
On December 3, 2025, the Election Commission released its daily bulletin highlighting the progress of Phase II of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR), which runs from November 4 to December 11, 2025. The report encapsulates the distribution and digitization status of Elector Specific Enumeration Forms (EFs) across various states and union territories. High completion rates were reported, with several regions achieving near-total or full digitization of forms. Overall, the data shows a successful enumeration phase, indicating robust engagement across the states. Notably, Lakshadweep, Goa, and Andaman & Nicobar Islands have achieved 100% distribution and digitization of EFs. However, Uttar Pradesh, with the highest number of electors, has digitized only 85.33% of its forms.
