Election Commission Upgrades VTR Sharing Process

The Election Commission of India is implementing a new technology-driven system to enhance the voter turnout reporting process. This initiative aims to reduce delays in updating voter turnout data by allowing Presiding Officers to enter data directly into the ECINET App every two hours on polling day. The changes are designed to ensure timely public communication and improve the accuracy of voter turnout trends, which will be available immediately after polls close, even in areas with limited network connectivity.
