The Election Commission of India (ECI) has conducted 4,719 structured meetings with representatives of recognized National and State Political Parties over the past six months. This initiative, led by Chief Election Commissioner Shri Gyanesh Kumar, aims to foster constructive discussions and strengthen the electoral process. The meetings included interactions with heads of six National Parties and 17 State Parties, allowing them to share suggestions and concerns directly with the Commission. This proactive approach marks a shift from previous interactions that were primarily reactive to party requests.
