Eligibility Criteria of PM-KISAN Scheme

The PM-KISAN scheme, launched in February 2019, provides financial assistance of Rs 6,000 per year to cultivable land-holding farmers through Direct Benefit Transfer. The scheme has disbursed over Rs 3.69 lakh crore to more than 10 crore beneficiaries. Recent saturation drives have included over 1 crore farmers, and a chatbot has been developed to assist with queries. The scheme also features a grievance redressal mechanism for addressing issues related to fund disbursement.
