The amendments to the MSCS Act ensure representation of women and Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes in cooperative governance. The National Cooperative Development Corporation (NCDC) supports women cooperatives through financial assistance and monitoring of schemes. Over the past three years, significant financial support has been disbursed to women cooperatives, enhancing their role in decision-making and income generation.
