Enhancements to e-SHRAM Platform for Unorganised Workers

The Ministry of Labour and Employment has reported that nearly 31 crore unorganised workers are now registered on the e-SHRAM portal, which was launched to create a National Database of Unorganised Workers. Recent enhancements include the launch of dedicated microsites for each State/UT to address local needs and the onboarding of 12 platform aggregators to facilitate access to social security schemes. The e-SHRAM platform aims to provide a comprehensive solution for unorganised workers, integrating various welfare schemes and services.
