The National e-Vidhan Application (NeVA) has integrated technological features to promote linguistic inclusivity in State Legislative Assemblies. Key features include Text-to-Text Machine Translation via Bhashini for translating portals into 22 regional languages and English, and a Unicode-based encoding architecture for content management. The project, approved with a budget of Rs 673.94 crore, follows a specific funding pattern for different states and has seen 28 legislatures sign MoUs for adoption, with 19 transitioning to fully digital operations by June 2025.
