Entrepreneurship and Skill Development Programme Benefits Over 18 Lakh Participants in India

The Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises' Entrepreneurship and Skill Development Programme significantly impacted over 18 lakh participants across India from the fiscal years 2021-22 to 2025-26. With funds totaling Rs. 277.02 crore, the initiative held 39,280 programmes focusing on self-employment and entrepreneurship, particularly supporting women, scheduled castes and tribes. The programme aimed at nurturing new enterprises, enhancing the capacity of existing Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises, and promoting an entrepreneurial culture.
