The Dr. Ambedkar Foundation, under the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish three new Dr. Ambedkar Chairs at Mumbai University, Jaipur National University, and GB Pant University. The event, held on October 15, 2025, in New Delhi, was attended by key officials including the Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment, Dr. Virendra Kumar. The initiative aims to promote research and academic discourse on social justice, equality, and the empowerment of marginalized communities, expanding the total number of operational Chairs to twenty-eight.
