Establishment of New EMRS by Ministry of Tribal Affairs

The Ministry of Tribal Affairs has announced the establishment of two new EMRS (Eklavya Model Residential Schools) aimed at providing quality education and holistic development for tribal students. The National Education Society for Tribal Students (NESTS) is urging state governments to make all approved EMRSs functional. The schools will offer modern educational infrastructure, vocational training, digital learning initiatives, and promote local languages and culture through various programs and events.
