Exhibition 'Footsteps of the Buddha' Showcases His Teachings
The Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts (IGNCA) hosted an exhibition titled 'Footsteps of the Buddha: A Sacred Map', which explores the life of the Buddha and the influence of his teachings across Asia. The exhibition features a hand-crafted fibre map highlighting sacred sites and the journey of the Dharma through various landscapes. Venerable Geshe Dorji Damdul emphasized the importance of embodying the Buddha's teachings before sharing them with the world. The event also marked the repatriation of sacred relics of the Buddha to India, reflecting the country's commitment to peace and compassion.
