Expansion of Jan Aushadhi Kendras in Andhra Pradesh
Jan Aushadhi Kendras (JAKs) in Andhra Pradesh have expanded significantly, offering a wide range of affordable medicines. As of December 2025, 272 JAKs have been established in various districts, with sales figures showing an upward trend, especially in the Konaseema district. The Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers has implemented several measures to ensure regular and effective supply, including incentivizing stocking of popular medicines and enhancing supply chain systems.
