Expansion of Tele-MANAS Services Nationwide

The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has significantly expanded the Tele-MANAS services across 36 States and Union Territories in India, establishing 53 operational cells and supporting 20 languages. Since its inception on October 10, 2022, more than 34.34 lakh calls have been addressed through the Tele-MANAS helpline. Complementing these efforts, the government has also introduced the Tele MANAS Mobile Application, providing comprehensive support for various mental health issues. Through associated programs and initiatives like Rashtriya Kishor Swasthya Karyakram and Manodarpan, the ministry is promoting mental health awareness and support at various community levels, targeting adolescents, students, and professional groups.
