Expansion of Van Dhan Vikas Kendras Under Tribal Affairs

The Union Minister of State for Tribal Affairs announced that 4,550 Van Dhan Vikas Kendras (VDVKs) have been sanctioned under the Pradhan Mantri Janjatiya Vikas Mission and Pradhan Mantri JanjatiAdiwasi Nyaya Maha Abhiyan schemes, generating sales of approximately Rs. 129.48 crores. The initiative aims to enhance export opportunities for tribal products through strategic partnerships and participation in international trade fairs. Key states with VDVKs include Rajasthan, Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Nagaland, and Maharashtra.
