Extension of PLI Scheme Application Window for White Goods

The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) has extended the application window for Round 4 of the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) Scheme for White Goods (Air Conditioners and LED Lights) until 10th November 2025. This extension is due to strong industry response and investment interest, reflecting confidence in domestic manufacturing. The PLI Scheme, launched in April 2021 with a budget of ₹6,238 crore, aims to enhance manufacturing capacity and promote localization in India’s AC and LED sectors.
