First State/UTs Engagement Workshop under National One Health Mission

The Office of Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India successfully conducted the first State and Union Territory Engagement Workshop under the National One Health Mission (NOHM) on June 9, 2025. Chaired by Prof. Ajay Sood, the workshop aimed to strengthen India's integrated One Health approach by engaging various stakeholders, including state officials and health representatives. Key initiatives launched included the Youth Engagement Program and a dashboard for One Health initiatives, which will serve as a repository for state and central efforts. The workshop featured discussions on governance, surveillance, outbreak response, and capacity building, culminating in a simulation exercise on disease outbreak management.
