Football for Schools Programme Expands Nationwide in India

Dr. Sukanta Majumdar, the Union Minister of State for Education, presided over a significant football distribution event in West Bengal as part of the Football for Schools (F4S) initiative. The programme, organized by the Ministry of Education in collaboration with the All India Football Federation and FIFA, aims to distribute footballs and integrate sports education across schools in India. Over 9.80 lakh FIFA footballs have been distributed nationwide, promoting inclusivity and fostering sports culture among students in 625 districts.
