Foundation Laid for Punaura Dham Temple in Bihar

Union Home Minister Amit Shah performed the Bhoomi Pujan for the Punaura Dham temple, the birthplace of Mata Sita, in Sitamarhi, Bihar. The project, costing Rs 890 crore, aims to develop the temple complex and promote Mithila's cultural heritage. Shah also inaugurated the Sitamarhi-Delhi Amrit Bharat train and highlighted the government's commitment to infrastructure and cultural development in the region, while criticizing the opposition for their lack of contribution to Mithila's progress.
