Foundation of India's First National Cooperative University

Union Home Minister Amit Shah will lay the foundation stone for the 'Tribhuvan' Sahkari University in Anand, Gujarat, on July 5, 2025. This initiative aims to enhance capacity building in the cooperative sector, providing education and training in management, finance, law, and rural development. The university will also introduce an academic module for school students on cooperative principles and will focus on developing a skilled workforce for the cooperative sector, addressing the shortage of qualified teachers and promoting research and innovation.
