Foundation Stone Laid for Green Data Centre in Uttar Pradesh

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh laid the foundation stone for a Green Data Centre at Central Electronics Limited in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. The project, with a capacity of 30 MW and an investment of ₹1,000 crore, aims to enhance India's digital infrastructure while promoting sustainability. The centre will utilize energy-efficient technologies and renewable energy sources, contributing to India's goal of becoming a self-reliant digital power. CEL's historical contributions to solar technology and its recent revival through public-private partnerships were also highlighted.
