On October 31, 2025, Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone for the Museum of Royal Kingdoms of India at the Statue of Unity in Ekta Nagar, Gujarat. The museum, costing ₹367 crore, aims to inspire future generations with themes of unity and sacrifice. It will feature four thematic galleries showcasing India's royal heritage, artefacts, and the historical integration of princely states into the Indian Union, all spread across five acres of land.
