Funds Allocation Under PM-KMY
The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Maan Dhan Yojana (PM-KMY) is a voluntary pension scheme for small and marginal farmers aged 18 to 40, providing a minimum assured pension of ₹3000 upon reaching 60 years. The scheme requires monthly contributions ranging from ₹55 to ₹200, with the government matching contributions. As of July 31, 2025, a total of 24,88,477 farmers have enrolled across various states, with Bihar having the highest enrollment of 3,45,452 farmers. The scheme aims to provide a social security net for farmers in their old age.
