The Government e Marketplace (GeM) has reached a significant milestone of ₹15 Lakh Crore in cumulative Gross Merchandise Value (GMV) since its launch in 2016. This achievement reflects the trust of buyers and sellers in GeM's vision for a transparent and inclusive public procurement ecosystem. GeM has evolved into a vital digital platform, enhancing access for Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs), startups, and women-led businesses, while promoting efficiency and accountability in procurement processes.
