Government Allocates Significant Funds for Agricultural Development in 2025-26

The Government of India has made substantial budgetary allocations for the rural and agricultural sector for the financial year 2025-26. The Ministry of Rural Development received Rs. 190405.53 crores, while the Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare was allocated Rs. 137756.55 crores, accounting for 2.71% of the total budget. This funding aims to augment initiatives like enhancing farmers' productivity, crop diversification, and supporting modern agricultural technologies.
