Government Drives Completion of Textile Industry Projects under IPDS

The Indian Government has been implementing the Integrated Processing Development Scheme (IPDS) since 2013 to help the textile industry meet environmental standards by supporting the creation and upgrading of Common Effluent Treatment Plants (CETPs). The current phase of the scheme focuses on completing existing projects, with six authorized projects under implementation, mostly in Rajasthan and Gujarat. A review meeting held on November 21, 2025, assessed challenges and directed rapid completion of these projects.
