Government Enhances Digital and Technological Support for MSMEs Nationwide
The Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) is implementing various schemes to upgrade technology and digitalize small enterprises across India. Key initiatives include the establishment of 20 new Technology Centres and 100 Extension Centres to provide solutions for MSMEs, enhancing their competitiveness and profitability. Moreover, 65 Export Facilitation Centres have been established to increase MSMEs' export capabilities. These efforts are supported by digital platforms like the Udyam Portal and MSME Champions Portal, facilitating online procurement, registrations, and financial solutions.
