Government Enhances PMFBY to Cover Wild Animal Damage

The scheme, which began in 2016-17, aims to provide comprehensive insurance for crop loss due to non-preventable natural risks. New protocols and technological advancements have been implemented, such as the National Crop Insurance Portal and the Digiclaim Module, to ensure timely claim processing and improved transparency.
