Government Extends PLI Scheme Application Window for Textiles
The Government has extended the application window for the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) Scheme for Textiles until September 30, 2025, due to strong industry interest. Following a recent application invitation, 22 new applications were received from the MMF Apparel, MMF Fabrics, and Technical Textiles sectors. The extension aims to encourage further investment in India's textile manufacturing, with 74 companies already committed to investments totaling Rs. 28,711 crore under the scheme.
